H,
I'm having trouble getting my guestbook to work. After changing the
line in the html code, when I hit "Submit"" after verification I get
the following error message:
Not Found
The requested URL /favicon.ico was not found on this server.
I have no idea what this means, and I've tried it with two different
guestbook scripts. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Could you give me the link to your guestbook, please.

I have just submitted the comment.
Anyway if the situation repeats, contact me again, please.

We have changed the hosting yesterday, so the DNS changing could cause
the error.

Hi, I'm still having the problem signing the guestbook, and getting
the error message:
Not Found
The requested URL /favicon.ico was not found on this server.
Any ideas on what's causing this? I don't have a favicon installed for
this stie, and can't figure it out at all. Thanks!

Hello,
I have seen this error on sunday, but was away from the server. Now I
submitted 2 test messages from FireFox and from IE and couldn't repeat
the error. I have enabled full logging and will try to find the
reason.

Anyway, thanx for pointing on this problem. This seems to be on our
end.

That would be great. I'm using Firefox and Safari, on Mac OS X
(10.4).
Thanks!

I've just had a chance to view the guestbook using Internet Explorer
on a Mac. It works fine, and the amount of spam is greatly reduced - I
was having to remove hundreds of entries - so thank you for that. I'm
only concerned that users of Safari or Firefox (on a Mac) are not able
to access the guestbook. Is there any way around that? Thanks for all
your help!

I'm using Firefox on windows and everything works well. I have no
opportunity to test it on mac.
But I can test it on Unix systems and can install safari. I will do
this for sure in soon.

Could you send me all the symptoms of the system behaviour on the mac
machine separately for Safari and Firefox.

Thanks for bug report.

There's really no indication that anything is wrong, other web pages
load correctly, no system symptoms etc. The only problem is the error
message:
Not Found
The requested URL /favicon.ico was not found on this server.
Thanks

Do you still experience this problem?
I have tried to fix it today, some hours ago.
