Forum - Error on new server using php

I had the form protector working fine on one server inside a
b2evolution blog, in the file comment_post.php. We moved servers and
now upon submitting the form I get the following errors:
Notice: Undefined variable: _GLOBALS in
/blah/blah/blah/domain/blah/blah/blah/comment_post.php on line 5

this of course referring to the line:
if($_GLOBALS['REQUEST_METHOD'] == 'POST' || count($_POST) > 0) {

Then I get:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by
(output started at
/blah/blah/blah/domain/blah/blah/blah/comment_post.php:5) in
/blah/blah/blah/domain/blah/blah/blah/comment_post.php on line 220

I get several of these, which used to be caused by utf bom markings.
I've cleansed the file in Babelpad. There should be no spaces or bom
codes in the file.

Interestingly enough, the comment will post if you go back and refresh
the page. The blog is live at http://www.ebibleteacher.com/blog.

Any suggestions? Is there a setting on the server that would make the
difference?
